I saw two chickens pecking on the footpath in West End as I rode past on my bicycle yesterday morning. Good on them.

POSSUM IN DA HOUSE!
It broke my heart to close the door on this cheeky possum that looked at me pleadingly as I stood safe inside my kitchen. Then a few weeks later as I was having dinner, a possum was even cheekier to be inside my kitchen! My sudden shriek proved to be useful in causing it to turn around go out where it came in.

As a volunteer wildlife carer, my colleague is caring for orphaned possums at the moment. So just next door to me at work there are gorgeous sleeping possums who require 4 hourly feeds. What babies.
